Weather-Related Parking Bans


REGION (WGGB) — Some area cities and towns have issued weather-related parking bans.

There is a seasonal parking ban in effect from November 1, 2014 to April 1, 2015. No parking on any public way in Belchertown from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. from November 1, 2014 to April 1, 2015. There will be no parking at any time during the day or night when there is a snowstorm in progress and the snow removal trucks are clearing said public ways.

Seasonal parking ban in effect, from December to April. Police want to remind residents that there is no on-street parking during a storm.

A parking ban is in effect from 7 a.m. Wednesday, February 11 until Monday, February 23rd at 9AM. No parking is allowed on the ODD side of any street. On Monday, February 23rd, there will be a reverse parking ban from 9AM until further notice. This means NO parking on the even side of any street.

Parking is now prohibited on the ODD numbered side of the road only. Parking is still allowed on the EVEN numbered side of the road. The normal on-street overnight parking ban still remains in effect between the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

Park on the even numbered side of streets on even days; park on the odd numbered side of streets on odd days. The south hadley police department will enforce this ban .No on street parking allowed on:  Bridge st., lamb st., bardwell street, main street, rt. 116, and lower north main st from 2/22/15 at 12AM until 2/23/15 12PM Monday.

A citywide parking ban will go into effect at 7 p.m. Sunday, February 1. The regulations are as follows: No parking on the EVEN side of the street from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. No parking on the ODD side of the street from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

There will be a parking ban in effect from 11 p.m. Wednesday, February 25 until 7 a.m. Thursday, February 26. The ban will apply to portions of Elm, Court, Main, and Franklin Streets for snow removal operations in the downtown area.

A parking ban is in effect as of February 2nd, 2015 at 1AM. No parking is allowed on the street so plows can do their jobs effectively.
